"Matched the description, but I expected an apology"
It looked like the photos and the size was right, so that part was fine. Still, with the way the experience went, I expected at least a simple apology.

"Package showed up beat up"
The box arrived crushed and was half open when I got it. Because of that, the lampshade had a few dents in it. they really need to do a better job packing this stuff

I ordered a few kitchen things from home-goods.store because they looked really nice in the photos. And yeah, technically they arrived, so that’s something. But in person, they felt a lot cheaper than I expected. One of the bowls had a small chip, which was just lovely, and the drawer organizer was kind of flimsy. Delivery was fine, no big drama there, but for the price, the quality just didn’t really hold up. I’m calm about it, obviously, but I probably wouldn’t rush to buy from them again.

I got my order and everything was the right items and the right colors, so that was good, good. One pack of towels was missing the tag, but it wasn’t a big deal. Overall I’m happy with it and would probably give it 4 stars

"Return was fine, but the refund was slow"
I ordered a lamp from Home Goods, but once it showed up it just didn’t really work with my room, so I sent it back. The return itself wasn’t difficult or anything, but the refund took almost two weeks, which felt slow. Support did reply when I reached out, so I’ll give them that, but whoever handles refunds over there is moving like a bunch of slowpokes. Not a terrible experience, just wish they’d speed it up

"Showed up way faster than expected"
I ordered a few bits for around the house and I swear it arrived faster than I thought possible. Like, I was fully expecting to wait longer, but nope, a couple days later it was already at my door. The box was in good shape too, so zero complaints there. The tracking updates weren’t exactly flawless, but with delivery that quick, I’m absolutely not bothered. Overall, I’m definitely happy with it

"Checkout felt slower than it should"
It did work in the end, but the checkout process felt clunky and dragged a bit. I also didn’t really feel like there was much of a personal touch—more like I was just another ticket number moving through the system

I ordered a few bits for the kitchen and the delivery came exactly when they said it would. The tracking was clear enough too, which makes such a difference, doesn’t it? No hassle at all, so I’m happy with it.

"I only got maybe a week or so..."
I only got maybe a week or so of use out of this lamp before it broke. I wasn’t doing anything unusual with it, so it was disappointing. At that point, it’s basically useless and not worth the money.

"Still waiting on proper tracking updates"
I ordered a few items and expected faster updates, but the tracking emails haven’t been helpful at all. They just keep saying pending, and when I reached out to support, I got what felt like the same copy-paste response. I still have no idea where my parcel is, which is frustrating.

"Just didn’t feel worth it to me"
I ordered a few home items from Home Goods, and maybe I’m a little picky about this kind of stuff, but I was disappointed when everything arrived.
The pieces looked nicer online than they did in person. In real life, they had more of a cheap discount-store feel, and one of the items even had a small mark on it, which didn’t help my opinion.

For the price I paid, I expected better quality. Personally, I’d rather spend a bit more somewhere I trust or find similar items for less elsewhere. I don’t think I’d order from them again.

I ordered a few things for the house and, umm, the payment process was really smooth. The checkout felt secure, and I got my confirmation right away. No weird problems or anything, so I’d definitely use it again

"Website is a pain to use"
I tried shopping on home-goods.store what a joke. The pages were so slow to load, and half the time the menu wouldn’t even respond when I tapped it.

The search feature didn’t help either. I typed in basic things like “lamp” and got a bunch of random stuff, and then the filters kept resetting every time I went back to the results.

Checkout was confusing too, and I couldn’t tell if my cart was actually updating or not. I ended up giving up before placing an order. The site really needs some serious fixes

"Feels cluttered and not worth the effort"
The site just looks cheap and messy to me. Everything feels cluttered, the colors don’t really go together, and it has this outdated vibe. I kept trying to find my way around, but it felt like I was wasting energy on something that should’ve been simple and clean.

"I did find a few cute home..."
I did find a few cute home things on Home Goods, but a couple of the items I actually wanted ended up being out of stock even though they were still showing while I was browsing. That was frustrating, and when I looked for help, the response kind of made me feel like I should’ve already known or checked something obvious.

The order went through fine in the end, but I had to settle for different colors than I originally wanted. It wasn’t a terrible experience, just a bit annoying, and I wish the stock info was clearer instead of making the customer feel like they missed something.

"Easy to assemble, but I’m not totally sold"
Putting it together was simple, took me about 20 minutes and didn’t give me any trouble. That said, a few parts felt a little cheaper than I expected, so it did make me question how well it’ll hold up over time.
